Employee Benefits Catalog

Employee benefits guide example.
— The Brief

For many years, an in-house designer would create an email banner to announce Open Enrollment, but the Employee Benefits catalog was produced by an external agency. The branding was never quite right, and the materials were not accessible to employees with disabilities. I pro-actively asked to bring the design in-house.

— The Work

I met with the Benefits team and convinced them to bring the materials in-house. I created a series of emails announcing Open Enrollment timelines, webinars, and how to submit questions to the benefits team; a PowerPoint template for the webinars, PC lock screens with Open Enrollment information and a QR code, a printed summary and letter that were mailed to employee homes, and created the catalog that was primarily distirbuted digitally.

— The Results

The Benefits team was very happy with the results, more associates enrolled the first week than in previous years, and discovered that fewer “cases” (questions) were sent to the Benefits team.
